Friday, September 27 - Golf Outing

For those alums that want to loosen-up before the official reunion begins, an informal golf outing will be held at Rock Spring Country Club (thank you Jim Jenco) .  We'll meet at the club by 11:30am to tee-off starting at noon.  Refreshments will be available at the turn, from a concession stand on the course. After golf, we'll head to the Westminster Hotel to meet arriving alums.

Friday, September 27 - Arrivals

Traveling and local alums will meet informally in the lounge at the Westminster Hotel for appetizers, drinks, and/or dinner. Upon your arrival, and after a proper buffing-up, reunite, schmooze, and relax with classmates and old friends.  This area will be our informal gathering place beginning at 6:00-ish on Friday.

Saturday, September 28 - Daytime Activities

Greenwood Gardens

Take a special guided tour of Greenwood Gardens, the old Day Estate, in Short Hillls. Private tours have been arranged for our class at 10:00am and 2:00pm but space is limited to only 20 people per tour. Transportation to and from the Gardens will be available, and the tour itself is free. To join a tour, your attendance at the Saturday evening dinner is mandatory.

Millburn/Short Hills Historical Museum

The museum will be open 10:00am-1:00pm and you may attend at your leisure. You will find an array of our specific class memorabilia and other chatzkahs. This event was a reunion favorite  for previous reunions and has known to spark many animated discussions and stories. A new restaurant, the BoxCar, is also located in the train station and will open 11:00am-3:00pm. The BoxCar is making a delicious optional box lunch for $10/person but it must be reserved in advance.

Millburn High School Tour

A tour of our old stomping grounds will start at 11:30am and last about 30 minutes. If that isn't exciting enough, we will end the visit with a traditional Millburn Del Sloppy Joe lunch in the school cafeteria.  Lunch and fixings are $12/person.

Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary

If you're interested in a relaxing and interesting stroll, the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary is open from 9:00 to 5:00 on Saturday. If your are a 'tour' person, a guide will satisfy that need at 1:00 and 2:00; it is not necessary to sign-up.

Saturday Evening, September 28 - 7:30pm

Gala Buffet Dinner

The beautiful Westminster Hotel is the venue for a delicious buffet dinner of hors d'oeuvres, main courses, and decadent desserts. A cash bar will be available and seating will be informal to allow for lots of social interaction.  Dinner is $125/person.

Sunday - September 29

There are no organized activities for Sunday but many alums will get together for a variety of intimate brunches to say their goodbyes. These small gatherings will take shape as the reunion weekend approaches.
