I was such good friends with Sue and Kathy that my heart is broken! I can't believe this. Kathy told me that Sue was sick but I guess I didn't want to realize how sick she was. I'll always remember the good times we had and even sleeping over their house. My love and prayers are with Kathy and her family. God bless you!

I didn't know Sue well, but she always seemed to be a kind gentle person.  Al

Always a smile, always caring about others, just a bouncy, thoughtful, full of cheer girl.  Sue was a great classmate, and liked by all classmates.  RIP, and my condolences to the family.

Thank you all for your kind words about Sue.  Sue fought a brave, heroic battle with  cancer for almost 5 years.  Sue died with her family all around her on April 2nd.  Pat, our older sister (MHS 62) has the same cancer now as well.  Sue had a wonderful life, she lived in Westfield then Sparta and her last frew years were in Morristown.  Sue had 4 children and 4 grandchildren which were the light of her life. She made me laugh every day, we were very close and I miss her so very much.  She is missed by her friends, family and everyone that she touched with her kindness, sense of humor and joy for life.

Kathy,  I am so sorry to hear of Sue's death.  I know you miss her terribly.  She was always so positive and so much fun.  I can't thank the Laugel girls enough for accepting a new girl from Tennessee into your home and into your realm of friends in 1963.  You made me feel so welcome.  I hope and pray that Pat will respond to treatment and that you and she will keep the Laugel spirit alive and pass on the wonderful memories of Sue to her children and grandchildren.  Love, Celie

I am so thankful that Sue and I reconnected and were able to spend many happy times reminiscing our early years together and sharing all that came later.  She was a dear friend who is sorely missed.  My prayers are with Kethy and Pat and all  those left behind.  Sue (Hart) Speer
