We were so lucky to have him for our journalism teacher. He was so enthusiastic and helped us to love working hard to put out the Miller.  We made good friends working together & I went on to write for some newspapers , business magazines, professional publications etc. Couldn't  have done it without him.

Mr. Friedlander was an excellent educator who made learning a joy.  He acted out Shakespeare, among his many talents, and spread his enthusiasm of English Literature to all his students.  His love for teaching, and his students were unique.  One of a kind.
