Millburn Senior High School
Class Of 1963

MHS Class of ’63,

We’re coming down the stretch in finalizing plans for our 60th reunion. While many have already committed to attending, we must finalize our numbers and would appreciate hearing from you, one way or the other. To assist you in making a cogent decision, here’s what we’ve got so far.

Our host venue will be the Short Hills Hilton and rooms are being held for classmates that wish to stay there. To reserve a room at a reduced rate, just call the Hilton and remember to identify yourself as an MHS Class of ’63 alum.

FRIDAY NIGHT, September 29

Upon arrival at the Hilton, we’ll gather at the bar and begin our weekend of schmoozing, dining, and imbibing.

SATURDAY DAY, September 30

For those interested in taking a stroll through Greenwood Gardens, the day will begin with a self-guided tour of the award-winning gardens at 10:00am. Entrance fees are covered by your general attendance. After 90-minutes or so at the gardens, that group will transition to the high school cafeteria and join the ‘sleep-in alums’ for a noon sloppy joe lunch. The entire group will then take a one-hour guided tour of the high school. After the high school visit, we’ll head back to the Hilton for more socializing and a 5:00 dinner in a private room. For those alums seeking more and are still conscious after 9:00pm, we’ll return to the Hilton bar for the remainder of the evening.

SUNDAY DAY, October 1

Sunday will be the departure day for most alums with random, more intimate breakfast groups.

Let’s consider the obvious -- how many more reunions do you think are likely? Okay, we agree; we cannot count on a 70th and, if there is, there’s a good chance that it will not be well-attended. Please make every effort to come to our 60th.

Finally, please reach out to your ‘old friends’ and encourage them to join you/us!

Wishing you all well for a healthy and warm summer,

The Reunion Committee
