As we enter this stage of our life we unfortunately have to see our classmates enter into this section of our class page in increasing numbers. It was sad to hear of June’s passing, she will be missed.

June passed on July 6, 2019 in her home in Cincinnati,Ohio. She was predeceased by parents Maurice Koenigsberg and Gabrielle Sachs Forrest.  Sister of Claire Caines.  Widow of Edward Caha.

Graduated from Penn state and Temple U. Accomplished in her career in speech therapy. Musically and artistically talented. Active in her Temple and loved traveling.

I met June in Jr. High. Been friends since then. We enjoyed driving together from Ohio to NJ for the 40th reunion. I flew up from Florida.  Later on she flew to Florida and we visited Disney and Celebration. Taking pictures on Wisteria Lane.

In St. Pete went to an Art Festival and the Dali Museum.

Didn't make it to the 50th. Regrets. Hoping we would see each other here in Oregon or back in Ohio.

A loving friend, gone too soon. I carry you in my heart.

Love, Lois

So sorry to hear of June’s passing.  Glad I reconnected to her at our 40th and we stayed in touch for awhile. She was a wonderful combination of a smart and sweet woman.  She will be missed.

I was startled and saddened to hear of June's passing. In high school English June and I developed a fast rapport. Much later, June volunteered to help locate classmates for one of our reunions.  We emailed daily, sharing details of our lives. After the reunion partiews we corresponded by snailmail.  Recently I had a chance to chat with June's younger sister who I hope one day to meet face to face ~ to remember June.
